{{Map Infobox |map=Arc |region=Arc Islands |stage number=[[Below Arc|<<]] 8 - 2 [[Radar|>>]] |waves=10 |starting resources=300 |resources per wave=300 |total resources=3000 |tower bases in field=- |starting tower bases=10 |total tower bases=44 }} == Overview == * '''Arc''' is the second map of the '''Arc Islands'''. * It features two brand new remixes for build phase and combat phase, though they're not included in the official soundtrack. *There are time limits before waves 4 & 8, 1 minute each * This map contains more various types of lumes encountered in previous locations than ever. * There are 4 Simo Units - 2 beside the core & 2 at each short path. They are same as the ones from [[Roboticist]]. If killed, they respawn at the next building phase. * A [[Rolfinator]] can be found at the east. * The bases given are: ** 10 in the beginning; ** 9 after waves 1 & 2; ** 5 after waves 3 & 4; ** 3 after waves 5 & 6, for a total of 44 (after waves 7 to 9 no new bases are received) ==Enemies== === Wave 1 === *20 x [[Walker Pup]] *2 x [[Spitfly]] *20 x [[Snorker]] *20 x [[Spore Pod]] === Wave 2 === *2 x [[Spore Keeper]] *20 x [[Runner]] *3 x [[Bliskeblaske]] *20 x [[Spore Pod]] === Wave 3 === *6 x [[Infected Explorer]] *5 x [[Jumper]] *25 x [[Spore Pod]] === Wave 4 <small>(1:00 Time limit)</small>=== *1 x [[Soaker]] *5 x [[Spore Keeper]] *20 x [[Spore Pod]] === Wave 5 === *5 x [[Mutator]] *5 x [[Infected Explorer]] *20 x [[Spore Pod]] === Wave 6 === *8 x [[Screamer Matriarch]] *2 x [[Spore Keeper]] *2 x [[Armoured Heavy]] *20 x [[Spore Pod]] === Wave 7 === *10 x [[Snorker]] *5 x [[Spore Keeper]] *20 x [[Spore Pod]] === Wave 8 <small>(1:00 Time limit)</small>=== *1 x [[Soaker]] *4 x [[Spore Keeper]] *3 x [[Walker Warrior]] *20 x [[Spore Pod]] === Wave 9 === *8 x [[Hoverer]] *35 x [[Spore Pod]] *12 x [[Rhino]] === Wave 10 === *1 x [[Soaker]] *3 x [[Walker]] *6 x [[Spore Keeper]] *25 x [[Spore Pod]] *2 x [[Bliskeblaske]] *3 x [[Spitfly]] *6 x [[Infected Explorer]] *4 x [[Heavy Pup]] == Trivia == * The map has some Easter eggs (link in Youtube: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDtvcfhmia4 <nowiki>[1]</nowiki>]) * ''This map is a revised version of a map in the prequel (Sanctum 1).'' == Notes & tactics == * Due to the variety of enemies, it's suggested to make towers focus on certain types of enemy and players take care of the others, e.g. building solid Anti-air defences to be able to more easily concentrate vs the ground lumes. * The [[Rolfinator]] is a good tool vs ground enemies, although it is somewhat inacurate and not as good vs flying lumes. * The four Simo units can be utilized pretty well as either a bait that to force the aggressive enemies to stop and attack them, or as a last line of defense * It is good to have two or three [[Anti-Air|Anti-air]] towers, or, if using one, to have it boosted by a [[Range Spire|Range spire]] and to be ready to use some more weapon action vs the air ones as well. * Wave strategies ** Wave 5 - the 5 [[Mutator|Mutators]] there are top targets. They can also be forced to walk an alternate path, since they cannot attack the core. ** Wave 6 might happen to give more sweating than usually, since the [[Screamer Matriarch|Matriarchs]] are durable and might penetrate to the core. Some kiting and the Simo units can help. ** Wave 9 is usually not too difficult, but care should be taken as falling from the map is relatively easy, so the player should be careful around the [[Hoverer|Hoverers]]. == Video playthroughs with links, towers, modes & results == * [https://youtu.be/LcmwVCo99rU <nowiki>[link]</nowiki>] - with 11 [[Violator|Violators]] & 2x [[Anti-Air|Anti-air]]; 5 [[Feats of Strength|Feats of strength]]; undamaged core * [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlZDrBVXBGI&t=2s <nowiki>[link]</nowiki>] - with [[Anti-Air|Anti-air]], 3 [[Friendship Laser|Friendship lasers]], [[Focus]] & [[Amp Spire|Amp]]; 5 [[Feats of Strength|Feats of strength]]; undamaged core * [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mK7kaCSIDw <nowiki>[link]</nowiki>] - with 3x [[Focus]] & 2x [[Anti-Air|Anti-air]]; 5 [[Feats of Strength|Feats of strength]]; undamaged core {{Sanctum 2}} <br />
