Overview

Roadworks is the 3rd level of the Giant Tree's campaign and is a fairly easy level as it gives many resources and tower bases throughout and is very easy to create multiple mazes with powerful towers.

It's important you get weapons to deal with the small enemies as you are going to need to focus your towers on the big ones even if you have a weapon such as the Shotgun.

Waves

As you can see on the right, each wave complete gives 200 resources and 7 tower bases, a very high amount for this level.

  • This level has a mix of heavy lumes and fast small ones.
  • One of the few levels that has two bosses.

Directions is determined by the in-game map of the level.

Wave 1

  • Rhino will spawn shortly after the Walker Warrior.

Wave 2

  • Walkers will spawn first, followed by the Walker Pup, followed by the Snorkers.

  • All enemies spawn at the same time on this wave.

  • Same as last wave, all enemies spawn together with the west Bobble Head's spawning slightly later.

  • Similar to wave 3 but more heavy and fast lumes.

Wave 7

  • Just one lume this wave, a very big and powerful one. Make sure you have towers setup to deal with this one.

Time Limit: 1:00 Minute

  • Due to the last wave you won't have much time to repair towers caused by the Super Heavy so be prepared to act.
  • Spitfly's are flying units that can and will fly directly to the core and be out of range of any towers making the east a priority for this wave.
  • Be careful of the Rhino's, they can kill you if charged directly.

Wave 10

  • The Walker Patriarch will destroy and bases you have made and attempt to go down the second left line straight towards the core. Because of this, focusing on it is a very good idea and building in preparation for this route.

General Tips

  • Setting up one tower at the top west spawn is a good idea so they take damage before approaching the south side. If this tower is a Focus, it can do over a million damage in the level.
  • It's important to stay alive because towers cannot reach enemies shooting at the core in this level.
  • There are many bosses in this level and it is important you build towers that can damage them.
  • Closing off the shortest routes to the core (the two middle ones and the left side) is the best way to make the longest possible route for lumes and give you the most time to deal with them or wait for later spawns to arrive at your towers.
